Lately, I’ve been thinking about pivoting—that crucial decision to shift gears, refine focus, and adjust how we engage with our projects and audience.
In the world of startups, a pivot is often seen as a survival strategy, a way to stay relevant in the face of evolving needs or unexpected challenges. But outside the tech world, pivoting is just as valuable — whether in careers, personal growth, or, as in my case, the way I approach writing this newsletter.
The motivation behind this shift comes from a simple realisation: less is more. After some reflection, I’ve decided to send this newsletter weekly instead of more frequently. Why? Sometimes, the best way to create value isn’t through volume but through depth.
Instead of scattering shorter, more fragmented essays throughout the week, I want to deliver a single, more substantial piece—something richer and more packed with the ideas and insights I’ve been working on.
It’s not just about writing more; it’s about delivering something worth your time. By moving to a weekly schedule, every Sunday at 6 p.m., I’ll curate a collection of articles, reflections, and learnings from the week — a packed edition that dives deeper into the topics I’ve been exploring.
Think of it as a journal filled with what I’ve written and what I’ve been thinking about, reading, and discovering.
A pivot like this is ultimately about respecting your time and my creative process. I’ve realised that quality should outweigh quantity and that giving space for thought can make the final product more impactful. It’s about delivering something that feels complete — a more intentional offering.
I value your time and want to ensure that every piece of content I deliver is worth it.
In the end, pivoting isn’t about giving up on what we’ve been doing. It’s about refining, evolving, and doubling down on what matters.
I’m thrilled about this new format and can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on with you — every Sunday, packed with more depth, insight, and value.
I hope you share my excitement, and I look forward to this new journey with you.
With love,
Ivan
