The Wisdomous : Love, relationships and productivity
Welcome to The Wisdomous - a friendly email sent to you every week to nourish your mental wealth. You will find micro-lessons from macro thinkers, a good story, awesome reads and some fun suggestions.
Welcome back, everyone. Recall that this is done every week. Also, I wouldn't let this one go between the cracks either.
In addition to having severe flu, my flatmate moved out this week, which means I now have the home to myself. However, there is a lot of cleaning and work to be done around.
This week I shared this :
Some people love those they can't commit to, while others stay committed to those they no longer love
The concept of loving someone from a distance is intriguing, and having grown up in the Rwandan community, I have a unique perspective on the concept of commitment.
Love can be described in various ways; in this instance, I define it as the ever-fleeting flood of emotions associated with genuine admiration for someone.
A commitment is a complete attachment to someone that allows them to build a future, despite the different obstacles in improving conditions.
You're either in love with someone, or you're merely devoted to them.
Having both is better. When it comes to love, we must put in the effort and, at times, provide fuel, which can only be accomplished if we are entirely devoted to our relationship (or partners).
Love is never enough, and commitments are complex; the whole thing becomes a process of growth, struggles, and triumphs, with a magnificent view at the end of the tunnel.

Some lessons can't be taught; they have to be learned.
Having a sharp memory is excellent, but sometimes the ability to forget is a lot better.
You can't help someone who doesn't want to be enabled.

Notes.
Keep a buffer of time, a little extra money, and a reserve of goodwill on hand if something unexpected happens.
You won't be taking advantage of every opportunity or extracting every last dollar, but what you sacrifice in reward, you make up for in security.
Survival is the most valuable investment of all.

Dan brown's lost symbol: This series is mind-blowing, and you'll find yourself becoming increasingly addicted as you watch it.
Escape from Mogadishu: My current addiction is to watch Korean films. I'm not going to give anything away, but please watch the movie.
