maybe you need a break!
Welcome to The Wisdomous -

Hey, everyone! I hope you are doing well at the end of February. I hope you are healthy and looking forward to March, which I hope will be the best this year.
This week, I reflected on the need for rest.
I usually abstain from social media for a few days twice a year to lessen addiction, develop new habits, and disrupt the cycle of consumption, which assists me in creating new patterns.
When it comes to digital detox, I feel there are a plethora of tools available - when it comes to me; there are several indicators that I need a break, some of which are listed below :
My ego must be in check: I like receiving comments, but I don't particularly appreciate receiving praise - and I despise being the helper; it is a load on my shoulders. Even though I can share what I've learned, I don't want to fall into the saviour pattern, which is exactly what happened after the Instagram live video. I received a flood of DMs from people asking for advice, which is a burden because there is no perfect advice without context and certainly no quick fix.
Screen time: Recently, I've been averaging 8 hours of screen time a day - this isn't entirely due to scrolling and Instagram, as sometimes it's simply watching a video podcast on YouTube while I'm doing something else, but it's still a third of the day spent exposed to new stimuli and input from others. This is not sustainable in the long term, and there are times when we must restrict input to increase output.
Break the chain: Once you've done something consistently for a time, it becomes routine. Alarms are still set at 5 AM, even though my mind is already awake at that time. On Mondays, I usually listen to Steven's podcast first thing in the morning since it's become a habit for me. On a few mornings, I'll put my phone away for half a day and see what happens - I'm looking for a change of pace and a chance to explore new things.
You may have your reasons for going on these retreats, but I'm here to tell you that, in this ever-noisy, fast-paced world, a little time away may be beneficial.

Vibes are energy in motion.
Whatever doesn't repel me is either neutral or attracts me.
Sometimes you don't understand why some people do certain things, but that's okay... you don't need to understand, just to love them.
Just get up and try; hard work pays much
